This CER writing tutor is meant to help you craft the best CER responses possible. To get the best results, let your writing tutor know what your prompt is and ask specific questions.

You should…

• Copy and paste your draft into the tutor and ask for feedback (Ex. “Here is my response. What do you think? (and then paste your response.))

• Ask the tutor for feedback on specific sentences.

• Ask the tutor what else you should add to improve your writing.

• Ask the tutor to support with starting sentences (Ex. “Can you give me some sentence starters for my evidence?”)

You should not…

• Ask the tutor to write for you.

• Use inappropriate language.

• Copy and paste responses from the internet.
